Plastic pollution is an increasing problem. Worldwide. Rivers, oceans, beaches, cities become more and more contaminated with plastic. WasteBoards wants to turn the tide by including as many people as possible, creating value from plastic waste. While having fun doing it.
That’s why they produce high-quality skateboards from plastic bottle caps. They collect these bottle caps together with the visitors of music events, school kids, companies, you name it. All WasteBoards are made by hand. And every design is totally unique because no single color pattern is the same as any other.
It is their purpose to show people the benefit of plastic. To show that it is not waste but raw material for great stuff. Although the problem is huge, it is their philosophy to just get started. To create, manufacture and adapt along the way. As long as we move forward, towards a positive outcome.
They start in Amsterdam but they want to develop WasteBoards wherever it is possible and needed. They dream of a world without littering. And when they wake up, they want to be out of business.Go to the WasteBoards website
